If you've read NEVER GO BACK already, you may have noticed that Reacher and Turner don't visit New Orleans in the book but they did visit quite a number of other places and states. So, with Lee's permission (who has participated in efforts to support the NOLA economy), the great city of New Orleans was added to the mix.
